As stated earlier on in the year, Dundee University students attend the Xm Training Centre to get hands on experience in their chosen field of engineering. This training has been ongoing for a number of years now and through the skills gained from their course the students have designed and built a racing car which they race against other universities throughout Scotland and compete in many trials designed around the car.

 Many companies throughout the surrounding area have contributed in some way to help the students complete their task and the students have been carrying out a tour of these companies to show their appreciation for the work and help which was greatly received.
